想探討譚詠麟的親子關係，他不會正面回答，只能以旁敲側擊方法，問他有沒有看合家歡電影。
他說﹕「最近看過《神奇4俠》。」
這部美國漫畫改編的特技電影，可以是一班朋友去看，也可以是拍拖去看，不一定是帶兒子去享受天倫樂。
正值暑假，近期上映的兒童片很多，可以選擇《V仔特工隊》、《朱古力獎門人》或《多啦A夢——大雄與風之使者》，也可以看《搞鬼甲蟲車》、《露寶治的世界》或《荒失失奇兵》。
真的猜他不到，星期一晚，他又被拍到帶?兒子曉峰去看電影，不是以上任何一部，而是?郖B級的動作片《冬蔭功》，十八歲以下觀眾應由家長陪同觀看。這部電影，看過的女同事說結尾部分拳拳到肉，暴力場面觸目驚心。
這個可以替譚小朋友放心，父母都在旁，必要時，有大人伸手掩眼。正如觀眾看譚詠麟，可以看的，都讓大家看了，不可以看的，他會盡力伸手掩眼不讓大家看。
父親患老人癡呆症
今年四月，譚詠麟父親被周刊拍得入住半山肇輝台的老人院，譚被指不孝。

譚父年輕時是著名足球員，三六年曾代表中國參加柏林奧運，又曾參與抗日戰爭，在譚詠麟心目中是英雄。他說，看?父親患上老人癡呆症，不期然感到「心?」。狀態較差時，十次去探他，只有一次認得譚詠麟。
「畢竟九十幾歲了，幸好病痛不多。有一次，他和阿媽去買菜，回家時在門口跌倒，要做大手術，整個盆骨換過，全身麻醉。手術之後，記憶力恢復不來，左腳長了三吋，要重新學走路，焗住去住安老院。妹妹還專程從加拿大回來開家庭會議，一起作這個決定。」
阿倫是家中獨子，其他五個全是女兒。他受父親影響，自小喜歡足球，爸爸表面上對他最惡，心底裏其實最疼。
「我們在屋?長大，一班小孩子常在走廊踢波，有一次把波踢到街上，天開始黑了，找也找不到，阿爸知道我最喜歡那個塑膠西瓜波，叫我先回家，明天放學回來就找到，第二天放學回到家裏，膠波真的找回來，但乾淨了很多，後來才知道，是他買個新的。那時家裏不太富裕，五元學費也交不到，要拖數，不見了個膠波好大罪。」
盡力保護兒子
他說，父親有個綽號叫「譚火仔」，脾氣很大。「我和妹妹吵架，她總趁吃飯時告狀，阿爸就會在飯桌打我。有一次，他打我一拳，我足足在地上爬了一星期，現在腿上還有個地圖（紅印）。我初初玩音樂，也被他罵我做飛仔，後來紅了，才沒有罵，還做了我最忠實歌迷，以前（未患老人癡呆症前），每首歌都懂得跟?唱。」
現在，他和妹妹一起去安老院探父親，老父不認得女兒，但多數認得兒子。「因為他常常看我的錄影帶，入了腦。他現在返老還童，像個小孩子，會突然拿副假牙出來嚇人，好像狒狒。」
譚詠麟樂意談廿四孝兒子之道，例如透露訪問前陪母親到銅鑼灣合發茶餐廳吃魚蛋。

「我們常常不在家，就多請工人照顧父母。加上安老院那個，我們家裏有五個工人。」
中國人不孝有三，無後為大，一談到這個話題，譚詠麟又以哈哈大笑作答。
「我不是反感別人對我的家人好奇，你們喜歡怎樣寫就怎樣寫，但我會盡力保護他們，他們不喜歡被記者影，雖然無奈，其實慣了，很多藝人都慣了。」
他說，不肯公開兒子身份，不是為了保護形象，他自覺現在沒有什麼形象，只是不想牽連家人，公不公平不是由外人判斷。
女歌迷示愛各出奇謀
聽過很多關於譚詠麟的傳聞，據說很多女歌迷向她示愛，甚至說她身邊的紅顏知己Wendy，也曾是他歌迷會其中一位成員，兩人十年前在歌迷聚會中認識。
談到艷福，阿倫又哈哈大笑說﹕「早期很多，現在沒有了，她們終於明白事理，但我不可以禁止別人，唯有當聽不到、看不到，要詐作不知道，明明寫信寫得很纏綿，講到鬼五馬六，看過也要扮沒有收過。（最誇張是怎樣﹖）什麼都有呀，你想得出都有。（登台時有沒有上酒店房拍門﹖）沒有，她們知道我會罵，我試過把很多女孩子罵到哭。」
定情戒指也收很多，他指?頸上掛?的鏈墜說﹕「這個也是歌迷送的，我知道她們喜歡我戴，就戴給她們看。」

「我惹很多肥妹，我明白她們的心態，了解她們激動的原因，就是不明白為何那麼多肥妹，可能社會豐衣足食，我對肥瘦沒有歧視，我常常說，張玉珊應該找肥萍（著名譚詠麟歌迷）做瘦身代言人，將她變成欣宜，一定會很成功。」
譚詠麟喜歡講笑，很多問題，就是這樣給他嘻嘻哈哈地耍過去，在娛樂圈三十年，沒有什麼人或事可以令他道行一朝喪。
患中重度後台抑鬱症
譚詠麟七五年由兼職轉做全職歌手，紀念入行三十年的《歌者戀歌濃情演唱會》將於廿五日開鑼，最近又找來久休復出的關淑怡合唱《舊情復熾》。
三十年來，唱片總銷量紀錄無人能破，紅館演唱會的總場數紀錄也是由他保持，兩年前的《左麟右李》，又令他和李克勤成為全年賺錢之冠，目前仍是流行曲之王。唯一惹笑的是，經常在台上忘記歌詞，漸漸已成了他的個人特色，看他表演，欣賞他怎樣笑笑口「啦啦啦」帶過，也是一種娛樂。陳奕迅扮他唱《一生中最愛》，也要扮他忘記歌詞。
「其實很難避免，尤其當你有超過一千首歌，有些歌很多年沒接觸過。我有一種病，中重度後台抑鬱症，不可以在後台等太久，化好妝整好頭，就要出台，好像一隻馬，入了閘就要彈出去，不可以在閘內等太久，一等就會『吽』，之後就睏，睏了出台就很容易發台瘟，接?就忘記歌詞，沒得醫。」
不知道大部分麟迷喜不喜歡看他跳舞，經典的《愛情陷阱》，舞姿是張大雙腿，隨心所欲地腳印印，好笑多過好看。他和李克勤開《左麟右李》，一起跳西班牙舞，跳完說要將男人尊嚴鎖入夾萬，才可以上台。
「我是溫拿裏面的舞王，你知道嗎﹖但又要扭屁股，手又要擰?擰?，感覺奇奇怪怪。」
三十年一條心

「每一次約滿，都有很多人招手，不少人出八位數字轉會費，但每次都因為種種原因留下來。由寶麗金轉為環球時，我也不滿意公司政策，差點想走，但無奈剛剛簽約，不是說走就走。
「那時李克勤想出《港樂》現場碟，陳少寶說不想出，他認為都是舊歌，出碟沒有價值，我陪他談了很多次，才說服到少寶出碟，結果反應那麼好。我在公司沒有影響力，但我認為克勤『得』，願意為他多說一句話。」
今年三月，他獲環球總部頒發優質員工獎，表揚他三十年來對公司忠心耿耿。
「英皇起得那麼快，因為很多寶麗金以前的勁人去了那邊。」
表面上讚別的公司，其實讚自己公司，譚校長這招很高，同學們要多多學習。

他和明星足球隊到內地踢足球，曾志偉踢到腳筋斷，他則背部瘀了一大片，要敷跌打藥。願意掀起衣服讓人看，天王巨星中，可能只有譚詠麟一人。
「我以前很害羞的，因為我家中女孩子多，彭健新說我家是『陰宅』。」接?又是阿倫式的哈哈大笑。
譚詠麟一臉陽光，他稱做人宗旨是報喜不報憂，整個訪問中，唯一承認「遺憾」的是為東方魅力搞上巿，結果因科網股爆破，股價波動太大，令不少股東損手離場，去年，他已辭去公司主席兼執行董事一職。
「我始終不適合搞這麼大規模的生意，要搞還是搞小的好。」
他曾被稱為「商業奇才」，但現在什麼生意都沒搞，只剩下藝能一間公司。
